Linux: We Now Build Mini ITX Systems with Linux Installed

We are proud to announce that here at ERA Computers & Consulting (ERACC) we have researched the parts needed to build Mini ITX, Tiny PC, systems and are offering a quote option on our sales site. Each of these Tiny PC systems is built to end-user specification. We build these with or without a hard drive and with or without an operating system. The only operating systems we will install on these are all Linux. If you want something other than Linux then we will build the Tiny PC with an empty hard drive for self-install.

What are typical uses for such a system?

  • Point of Sale Station
  • Diskless Workstation (Network Bootup)
  • Controller for Manufacturing System
  • Dedicated System for Statistics Gathering
  • Extremely Small Footprint Desktop PC
  • Extremely Small Footprint Server
  • Use Your Imagination …

A quote costs you nothing, so please look over the options on the sales page and let us quote you a Tiny PC from ERACC.

  1. Apparently some people are confused by our quote page. The quote page does NOT add up prices or show any exact prices. It gives one a starting point to get a price quote for a build. Each quote is handled personally by a real person, (me in most cases), here at ERACC. We get the list of choices, create a quote from the choices and e-mail that quote to the prospective client.

Edit: If one is looking for instant gratification quoting, that is not what we do on our site. We personally handle system build requests for all our systems. None of our systems are prebuilt and parts are chosen and priced out based on pricing at our distributors the day the quote is processed.

  2. Folks, please do not waste my time by ordering a quote with fake information. If you are not serious about purchasing a Tiny PC (Mini ITX) from us then do not fill out the form.

We require valid shipping and contact information before we will give personal attention to a quote. Please see the User Accounts & Orders page and then contact us if you have any questions about this.
